The Municipal Band typically performs ten to twelve concerts annually.  These include a spring concert each April, a series of six summer concerts during June, July and August, and a holiday concert in December.  In addition, the Band plays a patriotic concert on the lawn at Monticello as part of the Naturalization Ceremonies held there each 4th of July.  Other performances both in Charlottesville and surrounding communities and for special events are not uncommon.  The Band’s concerts are all free and open to the public.
